Fun with Photoshop

I've been playing around with Photoshop, I find it easier to create art in Photoshop rather than by hand but that's just me...

Here are a couple pictures I just created last night.

The top one is sort of a chalk outline inspired thing that makes me think of Vertigo...and the green guy all started with the idea of a crooked top hat. That's all for now...

Bonus Post! It's Beverly Hills 90210 day!

Since this is the only day in my entire life I'll ever get to do this I will join in and say "Happy Beverly Hills, 90210 day!" (Get it, today's date is 9/02/10)

Anyway, I power watched that show from episode 1 to the end of season 10 in about six months last year and it was amazing. So much drama, death, laughing, tears, I loved it all. So here's to you Beverly Hills 90210, someday I will own you when the box set comes out. Until then...

Rice-A-Roni(n)

So the mac I keep all my work on has died and the data is currently being held hostage, instead I post a picture of my puppy sleeping on my lap. He is cute, I love him.

Paint

So I recently was forced (practically at knife point) by Doug to do some paintings for his living room as he had tired of the ones that he had painted himself and put up there almost a year ago. In one night I completed a series of 3 paintings, he also included a painting of a blue spider that I had done a couple months ago after he had a dream that I drew a cool comic about a blue spider. The comic part fell relatively flat on its face but the painting turned out decent and looks nice enough for his living room I suppose. I have no pictures of these paintings but I will take one, one of these days, and put it up...

Since I have no picture of these paintings I will instead include a picture of a "character" I came up with several months ago and just rediscovered my first attempt at creating him visually. I introduce to you: Superhero Wallet.

Monsters

So I had a nightmare last night for the first time in years probably. It wasn't necessarily a nightmare because of the content (which involved Godzilla like monsters) but because of how real it felt. In the dream I was thinking "this can't be real" but buildings were being blown up and panic followed. I spent most of the dream trying to keep myself and my family safe, it was quite a relief to wake up, even if it was to a racing heart.

Strange, I don't think I've ever even seen an entire Godzilla movie. And although it wasn't Godzilla per say in the dream, it was something close and there other kinds of giant monsters too...I hope I never actually have to deal with that situation but if I do I'll at least have some sort of idea as to what to do...I think.

For now there will be that vague image of me looking up above the city buildings and seeing a giant white eye looking down at the destruction...good times.
